Mentoring

For example, it might be that you are not yet getting the most out of your fundraising team and that coaching and mentoring senior staff would yield benefits.  It is often the case that staff who are very able and willing don’t yet have experience of the total picture, and how they might grow.   I can provide either regular or occasional mentoring to ensure that staff is supported and developed and so feel confident to tackle new fundraising challenges.   Of course, not only should this result in a happier more motivated fundraiser, it also unlocks that employee’s latent potential for the organisation.  This is particularly important now as experienced fundraisers are in demand and consequently, recruitment is both difficult and expensive.

Is there a fundraiser who has the potential to be a star?   I would love to be a part of mentoring, supporting and guiding such a person.   To create a fundraising star of the next generation.   I could help you transform someone with great potential into someone who could deliver that potential, for you, and debate with you to what extent my experience is relevant to you.   I am not a trained coach. My added value would be experience.

Or, of course, I could mentor you.   But only if both of us believed it would add considerable value.

I would work at your pace, to your agenda.   I want to help, not impose.

A total fundraising strategy Where to start.

A major appeal An extraordinary opportunity, that every charity should consider.

A Particular project I am totally flexible if I have the right skills
